Harry passion for deer has taken him around the world and after majoring in Wildlife Biology, Harry followed his passion for deer to New Zealand. Harry strives to make all of his hunts not only successful but as educational and fun as possible. Our team of guides are looking forward to an exciting season at the ranch in 2025.

Having grown up among a family of keen hunters, Kate turned her passion into a profession, guiding hunts year-round across the globe. Introducing the most important man on the ranch, the one who keeps us well fed - Mark our talented and humble Chef. Mark has always had a passion for hunting, fishing and foraging. He's a master at using seasonal food, foraging for delicacies, and using every part of the animal for his dishes.

Meet Ben, we are proud to have Ben as one of our Guides at Avon Valley Safaris. Ben grew up on a sheep and beef farm and developed a profound understanding of the land and a lifelong passion for hunting. Ben is committed to delivering an authentic experience for his clients to ensure every hunter has the opportunity to fulfil their dream hunt at Avon Valley Safaris.

First up.... Darren, the Ranch Owner. Darren's passion has always been for the great outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loves to share his love of hunting with others which makes being the ranch owner, a dream come true. His role is the oversight of the ranch and making sure our clients create hunting memories that will last a lifetime.
